Steve Brodson, founder and principal consultant of BlockSentience, LLC

Steve Brodson has spent 25 years as a security architect — at Dell Technologies, World Wide Technology, and Siemens, across enterprise and startup environments. He holds the CISSP certification and practiced as an attorney before moving into security architecture, a combination that shapes how BlockSentience works: the technical layer carries the weight, and the artifacts are built to hold up in front of a board, an auditor, or a courtroom.

The "AI" part of the job arrived four years ago. His current work is security architectures for AI agent platforms — in battery storage, manufacturing, and healthcare — and AI governance work grounded in live litigation: what actually gets requested in discovery, what enforcement actions actually cite, and which records make the difference.

He founded BlockSentience, LLC in 2026 to bring that work to companies building and deploying AI without a security team. The practice is called Defensible Agentic AI: agentic systems you can defend to your board, your employees, and a courtroom if necessary. Engagements are fixed-scope with published prices, delivered for clients in the US, EU, Canada, and Australia.

He also teaches. Defensible Agentic AI for Chief AI Officers is a two-day working session for the people accountable for AI decisions, and he speaks on AI security at CYBR.SEC.CON 2026 and regional groups. He writes at brodson.com and runs the AdversarialMinds community.
